How does the diesel generator panel work?
In short, the diesel generator control panel contains a microprocessor that can process and manipulate input sensors. It can feed back necessary information to the control panel to help operators manage and use the diesel generator at a higher level.
A common feedback setting is a thermometer. When the temperature of the diesel engine reaches the temperature threshold, the diesel generator will automatically shut down to prevent damage.
The diesel generator control panel is sometimes paired with the ATS automatic transfer switch. ATS will prompt the diesel generator to start in case of power failure due to power failure.
