2023 Xiamen Island Roundabout Hiking Team Building Activity
On November 11, 2023, our company organized a team building activity of hiking around the Xiamen Island. This event aimed to promote teamwork, communication, and physical well-being among our employees. Participants embarked on a scenic journey, exploring the beautiful landscapes and landmarks of Xiamen. The hike encouraged collaboration, as team members navigated the trail, overcame challenges, and supported each other. It provided an opportunity for networking and fostering relationships outside the workplace. The event not only fostered a sense of unity and camaraderie but also allowed employees to appreciate the natural beauty of Xiamen while engaging in a healthy and rewarding activity.
For the past two months, our team members have been preparing diligently. We increased our weekly hiking training from 15 kilometers to 35 kilometers. Some teammates effortlessly completed the training, while others suffered from blisters on their feet. However, the sense of accomplishment in our hearts is incomparable.
After two months of training, on the eagerly anticipated morning of November 11th, we started our hike at 7:00 a.m. The weather was refreshing, and we felt confident. However, fatigue and blisters started to take a toll on some of us, and we even experienced chafing on our chests. Despite the challenges, we persevered till the end, embodying the spirit of our team—fearless, courageous, and determined. We quickly solved our lunch with a simple meal of a sandwich and a bottle of water, and continued our journey forward!
Victory! Our partner has finally won! At 5 pm that day, our friends completed a trek around the island. Although our legs were no longer strong, we persevered to the end! This is us!
