Diesel generator radiator fan type
The function of diesel generator radiator fan is to increase the air flow through the radiator core and improve the heat dissipation capacity. Radiator fans are generally characterized by large air volume, good cooling effect and low noise. Fans of different types and rated power can be equipped with fans of different specifications. There are two different structures, namely suction type and blowing type. You can choose one of them when ordering.
When the diesel generator is working, determine whether the fan is blowing type or suction type according to the rotation direction and the principle that the concave arc surface of the fan blade should be the compressed air surface. For example, when you stay at the front end of the diesel engine, if the compressed air surface of the fan faces you, it is a blowing type. On the contrary, when the non-pressure air surface faces you, it is suction type. When installing the fan, do not install it backward, otherwise the non-pressure surface of the fan blade will become the pressure surface, which will affect the fan air volume and reduce the heat dissipation effect of the radiator.
Diesel generator is a kind of precision mechanical equipment. All components must be intact in order to operate safely and efficiently. Fans are no exception. Please pay attention to the following precautions.
1.Regularly check whether the fan is installed firmly, and whether all blades have obvious bending and deformation. If found, replace them immediately to avoid accidents such as blade and radiator breaking due to the deterioration of fan balance.
2.Regularly adjust the tightness of the triangular rubber belt. Too tight will cause excessive bearing wear; Too loose will reduce the air volume of the fan, thus affecting the cooling effect of the generator.
3.Fill the straight-through pressure oil cup with proper amount of grease regularly.
