Generator radiator scale cleaning
The cooling fluid of generator will have certain loss in the process of use. It is necessary to add water to the cooling system in time. Some customers do not add coolant or distilled water, but directly add hard water. As a result, the calcium and magnesium ions in the hard water can easily form scale with inorganic salt components in ordinary coolant.
If there is too much scale in the radiator,it will block the radiator be easy to ignite incorrectly, which will cause the generator to overheat and reduce the thermal conductivity.The scale will directly affect the heat dissipation effect and reduce the service life of the generator. So please do as following to remove the dirt on the radiator.
1.Make a cleaning solution with 30 kg of water, 2.5 kg of caustic soda, and 0.6 kg of kerosene and pour into the radiator.
2.Start the engine, run at a medium speed for about 10 minutes, and then turn off.
3.Restar the engine after 10 to 12 hours,turn it off at a medium speed for about 10 minutes, and release the cleaning fluid.
4.Start the engine after adding clean cooling water,medium speed operation self-cleaning.
5.Repeat the above steps 2 to 3 times to completely remove the scale.
