Maintenance method of radiator in winter
The diesel generator set in operation will generate huge heat. If the heat cannot be properly distributed, the generator set will be preheated. Once the temperature rises to a certain degree, the diesel engine will be damaged or its service life will be shortened. Since it is the end of the year, the generator set is usually not working, so special attention should be paid to the maintenance and operation of the radiator of the generator set.
First, replace the coolant in the radiator (water tank). It is recommended to add enough antifreeze to prevent the radiator and water tank from freezing and cracking; Second, if antifreeze is not added to the diesel generator set, please drain the water in the machine and radiator; Third, replace the engine oil and diesel. It is recommended to use engine oil with relatively low concentration. Diesel oil with condensation point lower than 5 ℃ at normal temperature shall be used (determined by region); Fourth, when starting the machine, properly increase the idle running time. After confirming that the machine temperature has reached the relative temperature, the machine can be operated at high speed. It is recommended to operate at idle speed for 8-10 minutes.
In addition, attention should also be paid to the ventilation of the generator room and the cleaning of the outside and inside of the radiator.
