What are the differences in tractor braking system structure?

Tractor braking system
At present, the brakes used on tractors are generally friction type. According to the different brake structure and shape, the friction brake can be divided into disc type, belt type and shoe type.
1.Disc brake
It is generally symmetrically installed on both sides of the rear axle and brakes the left and right wheels respectively. It is composed of brake housing, brake disc, friction disc, steel ball and return spring.
2.Band brake
According to the different tightening methods of the brake belt, it can be divided into three types: single-end type, double-end type and floating type.
(1) Single-end brake: the brake band is installed on the steering clutch driven drum, one end of the brake band is fixed, and the other end is connected with the pull rod arm.
(2) Double-end brake: the brake belt is installed on the two pins of the brake cam, and both ends are tensioned when braking.
(3) Floating brake: the two ends of the brake band are fixed on the floating pull rod arm without fixed support.
The single-end, floating brake is installed on the steering clutch in the rear axle housing. It is composed of brake band, pull rod arm, brake band rear tension spring, brake pull rod, etc. The brake drum of the double-end brake is fixed on the two half-axle gears respectively, and the brake housing is installed on both sides of the front of the rear axle housing, which is composed of the brake drum, the brake belt, the brake camshaft and the return spring.
3.Shoe brake
The shoe brake is composed of brake hub, brake shoe, brake cam, tension spring, etc., and is installed on both sides of the rear axle housing or on the drive hub. Each brake has two brake shoes. One end of the brake shoe is hinged on the halfshaft housing through a connecting plate, and the other end is pulled against the camshaft by a tension spring.
