What will be the impact of hydraulic oil filtration blockage on excavators?
1. If it is a pump suction filter, it will cause insufficient oil suction, loud noise, heat generation, and then burn out.
2. If it is a high-pressure circuit oil filter, there is usually an alarm and bypass valve, otherwise blockage will cause downstream components to move slowly or the oil cylinder and other components to not move.
3. If it is a return oil filter, it will cause blockage of the return oil and increase the back pressure. The oil cylinder moves slowly. However, for general oil filters, there is a bypass valve, which means that if the filter element is blocked, the hydraulic oil directly returns to the downstream circuit without passing through the filter element. This advantage does not affect the normal operation of the system, but the harm is also very clear. Since the filter element is blocked, it indicates that the oil is very dirty;
4. If the hydraulic oil is bypassed back to the downstream system without passing through the filter element, it is likely to cause the downstream valve core to become stuck and contaminate the downstream hydraulic components.
So if the hydraulic oil filter of the excavator is severely blocked, replace it in a timely manner!
