How to check the coolant
If you think there is a problem, you'd better take the vehicle to the dealer's service department, or you can quickly check the coolant yourself. Make sure the car is cool, then place a clean container under the drain valve. Open the valve and let a small amount of coolant drain into the container so that you can see the color. If the coolant looks rusty, or it is brown rather than the original green or orange, you should put it in to wash the coolant. If you can see that the coolant pipe in the radiator is blocked, this is also a signal that the coolant needs to be replaced.
It is important to wash the coolant regularly to keep the car healthy and running for a long time.
