Compare the advantages and disadvantages of grease lubrication and oil lubrication. Pay special attention to the amount of lubrication. Whether it is oil lubrication or grease lubrication, too little lubrication will not completely affect the bearing life. Too much lubrication will cause greater resistance and affect the speed.

The sealing of bearings can be divided into two types: self-sealing and external sealing. The so-called bearing self-sealing is to make the bearing itself into a sealing device. Such as bearing and sealing ring with dust cover. The seal takes up small space, is easy to install and disassemble, and has relatively low cost. The so-called bearing outer sealing performance device refers to the sealing device with various performances manufactured inside the installation end cover. The outer seal of the bearing is divided into non-contact seal and contact seal. The non-contact seal is suitable for high-speed and high-temperature occasions, and has different structural forms such as clearance type, labyrinth type and gasket type. The contact seal is suitable for medium and low speed working conditions. Common structural forms include felt seal, cup seal, etc

 

According to the requirements of bearing working conditions and working environment on sealing degree, various sealing forms are often used in engineering design to achieve better sealing effect. When selecting the bearing outer seal, the following main factors should be considered:

1.Bearing lubricant and type (grease and lubricating oil);

2.The working environment of the bearing and the size of the occupied space;

3.The advantages of the supporting structure of the shaft and the allowable angle deviation;

4.Circumferential speed of sealing surface;

5.Working temperature of bearing;

6.Manufacturing cost.
