Poor heat dissipation performance of radiator
The radiator is the cooling device of the cooling system. It should be ensured that there is enough heat dissipation area against the wind. After the engine has been running for a period of time, the outside of the radiator will be covered by dust, and the inside will be blocked by dust and impurities in the cooling system, resulting in poor cooling of the system and high water temperature. Therefore, it is necessary to regularly remove the dirt inside and outside the radiator.
1.Remove the blockage on the radiator surface
Due to the long-term use of the diesel engine, the surface of the radiator core will be blocked by the adhesion of oil and mud, making its thermal conductivity worse, resulting in serious reduction of heat dissipation and high water temperature. The correct cleaning method is: first, use a wire brush to gently brush off the oil on the outer surface along the direction of the radiator, and then gently vibrate the radiator several times on the ground to remove the oil. Blowing compressed air into the radiator core for a few minutes can basically remove all dirt.
2.Removal of internal blockage of radiator
Put the radiator into the washing tank to clean the dewatered scale. There are four ways:
(1)Put the aqueous solution containing 3% to 5% sodium carbonate into the washing tank, heat it and keep the temperature of the solution at 80-90 ℃ for about 5-8h, take out the radiator and wash it with warm water.
(2)The washing tank is filled with 10% to 15% caustic soda aqueous solution. Immerse the radiator in the solution by heating for 25 to 30 minutes, and then take it out and wash it with hot water.
(3)For radiators with large scale, 3%~5% hydrochloric acid solution can be used. Add 3~5g of hexamethylene tetramine into each liter of solution, then heat it to 60~70 ℃, wash it for about 30 minutes, then use hot alkaline water to mix, and finally use hot water to wash it.
(4)For the radiator with serious scaling, use the welding torch to heat the weld, remove the upper water chamber, remove the scale with the saw blade, wash with water while removing the scale, and dredge the water pipe to ensure the smoothness of the pipeline. After the water pipe is dredged, install the water chamber to restore the original position.
