Solution For Radiator Water Spraying

When starting the engine or increasing the throttle to increase engine speed, coolant is sprayed from the radiator filler opening. The main reason is that there are large bubbles or cracks in the cylinder gasket or cylinder liner and cylinder head. This is because during engine operation, the pressure of compressed air or gas in the cylinder is greater than the pressure of coolant in the cooling water channel.

 

At this point, gas will be pressed into the engine water channel through damage to the cylinder gasket or large sand holes or cracks in the cylinder liner or cylinder head. Forces coolant from the engine water passages to spray out of the radiator filler opening. At the same time, the engine may be difficult to start or unable to start, and there may be malfunctions such as engine shaking, power reduction, exhaust pipe water spray, or white smoke. During inspection, the method of cylinder disconnection can be used, and the high-pressure oil pipe and solenoid valve of each cylinder can be disconnected separately.

 

Observe the water spray at the radiator filler opening while the engine is running. Determine which cylinder has the problem. When a cylinder is damaged, the amount of water sprayed at the radiator filler is significantly reduced or no water is sprayed, which means that there are cylinder gaskets or cylinder liner covers with large sand holes or cracks in the cylinder.
